Hey, I'm Noah, and I'd be super excited to capture your wedding!
I'm a Canadian now enjoying life in Spokane WA with my wife (Hannah) and two sons (Elijah and Asher). Marriage and kids are some of the best things that have ever happened to me, and it's why I love capturing weddings.
As a family, we love spending time outside. Right now that looks like a lot of walks along the Spokane river, camping, and traveling whenever we get the chance!
Some of our favorite things in everyday life are cooking good food (I'm super into Texas BBQ right now), spending time with our church community, going to the park, and Costco trips (because if you thought the free samples were awesome, just wait until you have a toddler)!
Our wedding was a massive turning point that brought us to this place in life, and it's my honor to be trusted to capture that moment in time for so many others.
Why Hire Me?
It's a big decision to trust someone to capture your wedding (arguably one of the most important days of your life), so consider this my application to be your wedding videographer and/or photographer.
I capture weddings because I think it's such a pivotal day in a couple's life that absolutely needs to be remembered. I got married in 2019, and since then, as any married couple will tell you, there have been ups and downs and some days you really need to be reminded of why you married them in the first place. And what better way to do that than through photos and videos?
Every time I see a photo from our wedding day, it brings a smile to my face. Though we didn't hire a videographer (now one of my biggest regrets about our wedding), we did print and frame our vows because it reminds us of the commitment we made to each other on that day.
Marriage is really special and if my photos and videos of someone's wedding can remind them of why they married each other, even in the hard moments of life, it's all worth it to me.
Practically, what does this look like?
Now that you know the overarching goal I have when capturing every wedding, let's dive into the specifics of your experience working with me.
First off, I believe that your experience on the wedding day is crucial. I want to be disarming in stressful situations, out of the way for important moments, and there to capture meaningful interactions candidly. I'm not into getting people to "do it for the photo", I want to capture the moments that are important to you.
When it comes to the video, capturing audio is a huge priority to me. Those words spoken during your first look, ceremony, and toasts are something you will want to hear over and over, and something your children will also cherish 20+ years from now.
In everything, I'm treating it as if it was my own wedding, because that's the kind of wedding photos and videos everyone deserves.
